We are now looking for an Operations Co-ordinator to join the existing team based in Gatwick, providing a pivotal role supporting the Operation. The role will report into the Airport Manager/Duty Supervisor, and work alongside a team of four Co-ordinators in this busy Operation.
Our Operations Co-ordinators are responsible for organising, optimising and co-ordinating the day to day operational activities carried out at the facility. The role involves day-to-day despatching of operators to refuel aircraft ensuring our customer requirements for fuel quality, safety, environmental protection and on time service levels, are met. The role also has responsibility for accurate data input, production of daily and periodic reports and general administration tasks as required to support the Operation.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, good communicator, a calm approach and with the confidence to direct our Operators in their day to day duties, following strict procedures. Training will be provided, but the successful applicant must have the ability to learn quickly and be able to work in a pressurised environment. Previous experience of working in a similar role would be an advantage.
This post is 37.5 hours per week covering shifts, across 7 days Monday to Sunday, with flexibility to provide additional cover as required. The successful applicant will be required to obtain an airside pass which will involve a CRC check.

Aircraft Refueller Maintenance Technician – MANCHESTER AIRPORT
North Air, the UK’s largest aircraft refuelling company is looking to recruit a qualified vehicle mechanic to maintain their fleet of aircraft refuelling vehicles. Based at our Manchester Airport workshop but with a requirement to maintain vehicles at other airports within the region.
You will be part of a team responsible for planned and non-planned maintenance for a fleet of 30 vehicles, which includes a mixture of 7.5t hydrant dispensers and 20,000 – 45,000 ltr refuellers. New vehicle commissioning and if necessary factory inspection visits where some overseas travel may be necessary.
Monday to Friday but with the potential to support the increasing workload and airport expansion by moving to a more flexible working pattern to suit the operation, which may involve working at weekends where shift allowance may be payable.
The successful candidate will need to be a strong team player, have strong organisational skills and be able to work on their own initiative, working to strict deadlines and task objectives, with limited supervision. As this role involves some airside working, a CRB check and checkable work history, is essential as part of the airside pass application process.
